Cisco (IPVC3540EMP3) Video Server - Cisco IP/VC Enhanced Media Processors (EMP) are dedicated video processors designed to support Cisco IP/VC MCUs version 3.x and later. These video processors allow IP/VC MCUs to process complex services you can create in the IP/VC MCU that the resident media processor (MP) does not have the capability to support. In creating conferences for these services, the IP/VC MCU uses the resident MP to process the audio content and an IP/VC EMP to process the video content. Without an EMP, the IP/VC MCU fails conferences that use these services.
