Tut Systems Expresso MDU 2000 Concentrator (65013) - The Expresso MDU 2000 chassis is a flexible platform for providing high-speed data services to customers in apartments (multi-dwelling units), dorms, hotels and for commercial/shared tenant environments. ??The Expresso MDU 2000 is designed to support a variety of loop technologies. The chassis accommodates up to 17 I/O line cards. Each line card can support a different loop technology, providing the utmost flexibility in service deployment. The technologies include eight-port point to multi-point HomeRun and LongRun Line Cards for MDU/MTU based provisioning and point to point six-port SDSL Line Cards for long distance CO based provisioning. Each Expresso MDU 2000 chassis supports up to 136 HomeRun/LongRun lines in a 6RU (10.5") in a 19" or 23" rack with UL compliance minimizing space requirements and deployment costs. T1 WAN interface, switch, and MUX cards can be added, supporting both public and private network functions on a single platform.
