ECW Hardcore Revolution for Game Boy Color - While ECW Hardcore Revolution N64 proudly strutted its Mature rating, Acclaim's hand-held version takes such a mellow approach that the Pak garnered an ESRB Everyone rating. ECW GBC offers exhibition, career and training modes. The Pak also boasts ECW N64's notorious Barbed Wire matches, but the bloodless gameplay is virtually identical to that found in a conventional rope ring. The main exception is that wrestlers who run into the wire fall down instead of bouncing. The Pak comes with 10 of Extreme Championship Wrestling's most popular stars, but, alas, no women: Rob Van Dam ,Sabu ,Mike Awesome ,Tommy Dreamer ,Raven ,Justin Credible ,Lance Storm ,Tajiri ,Jerry Lynn ,Balls Mahoney. Options include three difficulty levels and match lengths ranging from 20 seconds to no time limit. Controls are simple. There are two kinds of punches, a straight and a more powerful overhead blow, but only one type of kick. You can also throw a rival. Acclaim says that each wrestler has a unique finishing move.
